Blue Ridge Medical Management

Blue Ridge Medical Management Corp. (BRMMC) is a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA).

BRMMC employs more than 90 physicians in more than 30 locations within the Blue Ridge Physician Group. The corporation also provides medical management services to a number of physicians and healthcare entities in the region.

BRMMC operates several urgent care facilities known as First Assist Urgent Care clinics, located throughout the Tri-Cities, and ValuCare clinics, which are located in some Food City stores. Both options are viable alternatives to emergency room visits for minor illnesses and injuries. The ValuCare clinics are staffed by licensed nurse practitioners and are designed to provide quick, affordable care for minor illnesses.

In addition to these clinics, BRMMC also operates the MedWorks/Your Health Advantage occupational health program. BRMMC also owns and manages more than one million square feet of medical office space in a number of medical buildings throughout the region.
