C. Steven Kilgore
Senior Vice President

Steve Kilgore has more than 20 years of experience in health care, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, operational assessments, income distribution, expense management and strategic planning. He also previously served as a Director of Development for a publicly held physician practice management company. Kilgore joined Mountain States in 1998 and became senior vice president of BRMMC in 1999. Previously, he was executive director of a 70-provider multi-specialty practice in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Brenda Neas
Vice President of
Corporate Services

Brenda Neas has more than 30 years of experience in health care, specializing in physician relationships including recruitment, retention, contract development, preparation of pro formas and practice start-ups. Neas has served in various management positions within Mountain States and is currently vice president of Corporate Services for BRMMC. She has direct responsibility for the practices owned and managed by BRMMC as well as the coordination of contracts for practice management services that are offered to providers within the Mountain States service area. She is a registered health information administrator and a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American Health Information Management Association.

Lynn Krutak

Lynn Krutak began her career with Mountain States in 1995. She has served in the finance and accounting areas for several Mountain States facilities. She was appointed to her current position in November 2007. Krutak is responsible for overseeing financial accounting and reporting, budgeting, treasury management (including payroll and disbursements) and debt management. She maintains the high quality and accuracy of the organization’s internal financial and accounting control systems as well as providing financial leadership and operational analysis support for Mountain States. She has direct financial management responsibility for BRMMC. Krutak is a certified healthcare finance professional and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She is treasurer for the Tri-Cities Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Lynn Musselwhite
Vice President
Patient Financial Services

Lynn Musselwhite is responsible for revenue cycle departments at Mountain States, to include admitting, scheduling and the corporate business office that serves all Mountain States hospitals and BRMMC physician offices. Musselwhite has earned the Fellowship designation with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and serves on the national Board of Examiners. She has also earned the Muncie Gold Award with the HFMA.

Pamela Austin

BRMMC Information Systems

Pamela Austin is responsible for Revenue Cycle Applications for Mountain States. She is a member of the Project Management Institute and holds a certification as a project management professional. She is also a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and is a certified professional in healthcare information and management systems. Austin has been employed by Mountain States since 1996. She held several positions in Information Systems prior to taking on her current role as senior director in 2008.

Paula Claytore

Mountain States Health Alliance

Paula Claytore is responsible for cost-accounting and managed care operations Mountain States. She is a Fellow with the HFMA and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is an active participant in state and community healthcare boards and committees. Claytore has been employed with Mountain States since 1996. She held positions in accounting and decision support since 2001.
